CanJet Airlines to Launch Scheduled Service Between Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport
November 15, 2002CanJet Airlines, eastern Canada's original low-cost, discount airline, will launch scheduled service between Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport on Saturday, February 1, 2003.
According to Mr. Doug Newson, Director of Marketing for CanJet, "This will be the only non-stop airline service between Atlantic Canada and the Tampa Bay Area, as well as the only low-cost, discount airline service from Halifax to the State of Florida".
CanJet will be accepting bookings effective immediately, with one-way fares starting at $199. An additional $5 discount is offered for all one-way on-line bookings. Customers can book on-line at
