UPS has responded to the letters from Chairman Morroni and Airport Director Noah Lagos concerning consideration for further adjustment to the change in flight schedules illustrated below. UPS's letter dated June 16, 2005 (click here) notes their inability to change their schedule based on business necessity to meet scheduled delivery times. Although UPS pledges to monitor operations for opportunities to adjust their schedule, they will maintain the earlier flight schedule at this time. Since the new schedule went into effect, UPS notes that the flight arrival time averages are on time or slightly later than the published schedule.
UPS changed their flight schedule in May and all three AM arriving flights now take place shortly before 6:00 AM. This is a change from their previous schedule of just 1 flight arriving prior to 6:00 AM. The following is a comparison of the previous and current schedules.
